Gefeliciteerd met uw aankoop van de mr Safe Jumpstarter. Lees deze handleiding grondig

door vooraleer u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Deze handleiding zal u informeren over

de specicaes en het correcte gebruik, veiligheidsvoorschrien en nuge informae.

Wanneer u twijfelt, kan u steeds deze handleiding raadplegen.

De mr Safe Jumpstarter is een mulfunconeel toestel voor in / rond je voertuig zoals auto, truck,

boot, …! Het kan een lege baerij jumpstarten met de meegeleverde jumpstart-kabels. Het hee

een ingebouwde LED zaklamp met verschillende modi en werkt als Powerbank. U kan elektronische

toestellen opladen zoals mobiele & smartphones, tablets, draagbare game-toestellen, digitale

camera’s, acon cams, draagbare GPS-systemen en andere DC 5V 2A elektronische toestellen.

IV. Opladen van de mr Safe Jumpstarter

• Verbind de Micro USB Laadkabel met de meegeleverde 12V DC Autolader of aan een 2A USB

Thuisoplader (230V).

• Steek het andere einde van de Micro USB Laadkabel in de Micro USB Input (4).

• De oplaadjd bedraagt ongeveer 3-4u via de 5V 2A input poort.

Je kan steeds de baerijstatus controleren via de Baerij LED Indicae (2):

0%: Geen LED

10%: 1 LED (knipperend)

25%: 1 LED (connu)

50%: 2 LED (connu)

75%: 3 LED (connu)

100%: 4 LED (connu)

! We raden je aan om nu en dan de baerij na te kijken en elke 4 maanden de baerij volledig op

te laden!

V. Hoe een voertuig jumpstarten (Zie Illustrae 2)

! Vooraleer u een voertuig gaat jumpstarten, kijkt u na of de baerij van de mr Safe Jumpstarter

minstens 50% is !

1. Steek de Sparkproof klemmen in de Jumpstarter.

2. Verbind eerst de RODE klem met de posieve (+) baerij aansluing, verbind dan de ZWARTE

klem met de negaeve (-) baerij aansluing.

3. Voor dat u jumpstart, controleer de Jumpstart Indicae LED (8):

a. Als de LED groen is: klaar voor jumpstart.

b. Als de LED rood is: onjuiste verbinding van de klemmen: controleer opnieuw!

c. Als de LED rood knippert: Over-ontlading / Omgekeerde polariteit-bescherming is geac-

veerd of lage baerij.

d. Als de LED uit is: druk de BOOST-toets (9) gedurende 3 seconden tot de LED groen oplicht.

! VOER GEEN JUMPSTART UIT ALVORENS HET LICHT GROEN IS !

Eens de LED groen oplicht, kan u het contact of ontsteking omdraaien en uw voertuig

starten.

4. Eens het voertuig opgestart is, verwijder de jumpstart klemmen van de baerijaansluingen.

5. Verwijder de klemmen van de Jumpstarter.

VI. Mobiele toestellen opladen

1. Zorg dat uw toestel aangestuurd word door 5V 2A.

2. Verbind de meegeleverde USB-kabel met de USB output poort (5) van de Jumpstarter en

verbind de andere zijde met uw elektronisch toestel. Indien het toestel de meegeleverde

kabel niet ondersteunt, kan u uw eigen kabel nemen nadat u zeker weet dat hij voor 5V 2A

doeleinden geschikt is.

3. Druk op de Power-toets (1) om te starten met laden.

VII. Hoe de zaklamp bedienen

1. Houd de Power-toets (1) ingedrukt gedurende 3 seconden. De LED Zaklamp zal nu oplichten.

2. Druk op de Power-toets (1) om van modus te wisselen: (AAN – STROBO – SOS – UIT)

Congratulaons on purchasing the mr Safe Jumpstarter. Before operang the device,

please read the user manual carefully. This manual will inform you of the specicaons

and proper operaon procedures, safety warnings and useful informaon.

The mr Safe Jumpstarter is a mulfunconal tool for in/around your vehicle such as car, truck, boat,

…! It can jumpstart a drained baery with the supplied jumpstart cables. It has a built-in LED Torch

with dierent modes and works as a Powerbank. You can charge electronic devices such as mobile

& smartphones, tablets, portable gaming devices, digital cameras, acon cameras, portable GPS

devices and any other DC 5V 2A powered electronic devices.

IV. Charging the mr Safe Jumpstarter

• Connect the Micro USB Charging Cable to the supplied 12V DC Carcharger or to an 2A USB

Home charger (230V).

• Plug the other end of the Micro USB Charging cable into the Micro USB Input (4).

• Charging duraon is about 3-4 hours through the 5V 2A input port.

You can always check the powerstatus of the baery by verifying the Baery LED Indicaon (2):

0%: No LED

10%: 1 LED (Flashing)

25%: 1 LED (connuous)

50%: 2 LED (connuous)

75%: 3 LED (connuous)

100%: 4 LED (connuous)

! We advise you to check the baery oen and recharge the baery enrely every 4 months!

V. How to jumpstart a vehicle (See Illustraon 2)

! Bef

ore jumpstarng the vehicle, make sure the baery level of the mr Safe Jumpstarter is at least 50%!

1. Plug the Sparkproof clamps into the Jumpstarter.

2. Connect the RED clamp to the posive (+) baery terminal rst, then connect the BLACK clamp

to the negave (-) baery terminal.

3. Before jumpstarng, check the Jumpstart LED Indicaon (8):

a. If the LED is green: ready for jumpstart

b. If the LED is red: incorrect connecon of the clamps, please double check!

If the LED is blinking red: Over-discharge / Reverse charge protecon is acvated or low baery

d. If the LED is OFF: press the BOOST-buon (9) for 3 seconds unl the LED is green.

! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO JUMPSTART BEFORE THE LIGHT IS GREEN !

Once the LED is green, you can turn the ignion and start your vehicle.

4. Once the vehicle is started up, remove the Jumpstart clamps from the vehicle baery terminals.

5. Remove the Sparkproof clamps out of the Jumpstarter.

VI. Charging mobile devices

1. Make sure the electronic device is 5V 2A powered.

2. Connect the supplied USB cable to the USB output port (5) of the Jumpstarter and connect it

to your electronic device. If your device does not support the supplied USB cable, you can use

your own appropriate one, aer checking it is built for 5V 2A current.

3. Press the Power Buon (1) to start charging.

VII. How to turn on the Torch

1. Press and hold the Power Buon (1) for 3 seconds. The LED Torch will now light up.

2. Press the Power Buon (1) to change mode: (ON – STROBE – SOS – OFF)

VIII. HowtoturnotheJumpstarter

The mr Safe Jumpstarter has an autoturn-o feature. It will turn itself o automacally when your

electronic device is fully charged or when there is no charging load.

IX. Importantnoteswhilejumpstarng

• DO NOT touch the RED and BLACK clamps together or connect both clamps to the same piece

of metal to prevent any physical injury and damage to the vehicle!

• DO NOT use the jumpstart cables for any other purpose than jumpstarng the vehicle!

• ALWAYS check if the jumper clamps are well connected!

• DO NOT jumpstart again aer 3 aempts, otherwise it will damage the host. In this case check

if your vehicle has other issues or call for road assistance.

• DO NOT touch the vehicle baeries while jumpstarng.

• ALWAYS use the Jumpstarter in a well venlated area, shield your eyes with safety glasses.

• ALWAYS turn o the ignion before making cable connecons.

• NEVER connect the clamps to the fuel line, fuel injector or carburator as the engine ground.

• KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN to avoid any accident.

The mr Safe Jumpstarter will not damage the vehicle when used correctly. If you accidentally connect

the RED and BLACK clamps to the wrong polarity terminal and aempt to jumpstart the vehicle, the

spark-proof clamps will cut the power o immediately to prevent injury and avoid damaging the

vehicle. AlwayschecktheJumpstarterLEDIndicaon(8)toverifythecorrectconnecon.

You can jumpstart a vehicle about 15 mes with a fully charged Jumpstarter Baery (depending on

usage and vehicle engine displacement).

If the mr Safe Jumpstarter fails to start your vehicle on the rst try, please wait at least 10 seconds

before aempng to try again and do not connue cranking the key for over 5 seconds at each

aempt. IftheJumpstartdidnot succeed aer3 mes, itisduetootherproblemswith your

vehicle and we recommend you to not try more. We recommend you to call road assistance at

this point.

X. Troubleshoong

• Jumpstarter LED indicaon is OFF aer connecng the clamps to the vehicle baery

-> The vehicle baery is completely empty. Hold the BOOST buon (9) for 3 seconds unl the

LED is green and ready for jumpstarng.

• The recharging of the mr Safe Jumpstarter takes longer than 10 hours.

-> You are not using the correct AC adapter. We recommend you to recharge it with a 2A

output USB adapter.

• There is no response when I press the Power Buon (1):

-> The low voltage protecon is acvated because the baery is almost empty. Recharge the

Jumpstarter as described in IV.

XI. Safety Warnings

• Always take care when using the product.

• This product is not intended for use by young or inrm persons without supervision. Keep

away from children.

• Do not throw or apply physical shock to the product.

• Keep the product away from re, heat and water.

• Do not allow the product to become wet or immerse it in water.

• Do not operate the product in explosive atmospheres, such as in the vicinity of ammable

liquids, gasses or dust.

• Use suitable AC or DC adapters to charge your devices, preferably the provided cables.

• Only charge the Jumpstarter with the charger and cables provided with this product.

• Charge only at ambient temperatures between 0°C – 60°C.

• Do not aempt to modify any part of the mr Safe Jumpstarter to avoid shock hazard.

• Do not store the product in temperatures above 60°C or below -20°C.

VIII. Hoe de Jumpstarter uitschakelen

De mr Safe Jumpstarter he een auto-uitschakel funce. Het zal zichzelf automasch uitschakelen

wanneer uw elektronisch toestel volledig opgeladen is of wanneer er geen lading meer wordt

waargenomen.

IX. Belangrijke opmerkingen bij Jumpstarten

• Laat de ZWARTE en RODE klemmen NOOIT elkaar raken of sluit ze nooit aan op hetzelfde stuk

metaal om lichamelijke letsels en schade aan het voertuig te vermijden!

• Gebruik de jumpstart-kabels NOOIT voor andere doeleinden!

• Kijk ALTIJD na of de jumpstarter klemmen correct bevesgd zijn!

• Voer NOOIT een jumpstart uit na de 3e poging, om schade aan de baerij te vermijden. Indien

je voertuig niet start na 3 pogingen is er iets anders mis en kan u beter wegenbijstand bellen.

• Raak de baerij NOOIT aan jdens het jumpstarten.

• Gebruik de Jumpstarter ALTIJD in een goed verluchte omgeving, bescherm je ogen met een

veiligheidsbril.

• Zorg ALTIJD dat de ontsteking / contact van het voertuig uitstaat alvorens de kabels te bevesgen.

• Verbind de klemmen NOOIT met de benzineleiding, benzine-injece of carburator als aardingspunt.

• WEGHOUDEN VAN KINDEREN om ongelukken te vermijden.

De mr Safe Jumpstarter zal uw voertuig niet beschadigen wanneer u het toestel correct gebruikt.

Wanneer u per ongeluk de RODE en ZWARTE klemmen aan de verkeerde polariteit van de baerij

verbindt zullen de klemmen de stroom onmiddellijk afzeen om letsels en schade aan het voertuig te

vermijden. ControleeraljddeJumpstarterLEDIndicae(8)omdeverbindingtecontroleren.

U kan een voertuig tot 15 keer jumpstarten met een volledig opgeladen Jumpstarter Baerij.

(aankelijk van gebruik en voertuig-vereisten).

Indien de mr Safe Jumpstarter er de eerste keer niet in slaagt om uw voertuig te jumpstarten, wacht

u best 10 seconden om het dan opnieuw te proberen. Laat bij het jumpstarten de sleutel niet langer

dan 5 seconden omgedraaid per poging! Indiendejumpstartnietna3pogingengeluktis,isereen

ander probleem met uw voertuig en raden we aan niet meer opnieuw te jumpstarten. U kan beter

wegenbijstand bellen in dit geval.

X. Probleemverhelping

• Jumpstarter LED indicae is UIT na het verbinden van de klemmen aan de baerij.

-> De baerij van uw voertuig is volledig leeg. Hou de BOOST-toets (9) ingedrukt tot de LED

groen oplicht en klaar is om te jumpstarten.

• Het herladen van de mr Safe Jumpstarter duurt langer dan 10 uur.

-> U gebruikt niet de correcte AC adapter. We raden u aan om hem op te laden met een 2A

output USB adapter.

• Er is geen reace als ik op de Power-toets (1) druk.

-> De lage-voltage bescherming is geacveerd omdat de baerij bijna leeg is. Laad uw Jump-

starter op zoals beschreven in IV.

XI. Veiligheidsvoorschrien

• Wees steeds aandachg wanneer u dit toestel gebruikt.

• Dit product is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door jonge of niet gemachgde personen zonder

toestemming. Weghouden van kinderen.

• Gooi het toestel niet en vermijd fysieke schokken aan het toestel.

• Vrijwaar het product van open vlammen, hie en water.

• Laat het product niet nat worden of dompel het niet onder in water.

• Bedien het toestel niet in explosieve omgevingen, in het bijzijn van ontvlambare vloeistoen,

gassen of stof.

• Gebruik de geschikte AC of DC adapters om uw toestellen op te laden, bij voorkeur de

meegeleverde kabels.

• Laad de Jumpstarter enkel met de lader en kabels meegeleverd met dit product.

• Laad het product enkel bij kamertemperaturen tussen 0°C – 60°C.

• Probeer niet een onderdeel van de mr Safe Jumpstarter aan te passen om schokken te

vermijden.

• Bewaar het product niet in temperaturen boven 60°C of onder -20°C.
